Dog Care
ROOMS
All rooms have comfortable beds, and bedding is provided if
owners do not supply their own. Rooms are decorated to a high standard, and
tiled throughout
Dogs have their own, individual, private rooms with their own fully-enclosed patios for exercise. Each room is totally private and has the advantage of individual, thermostatically-controlled heating. In summer, the air is kept cool by means of a sophisticated air-flow system, coupled with an exceptionally well-insulated building and ultra-violet ray-inhibiting, covered patio areas.
HYGIENE
We wish to offer your pet a
clean environment and, therefore, we are meticulous in the daily cleaning of
his/her temporary home. Rooms, patios, and play areas are maintained to the
standards of the most discriminating dog. Dogs suffering from, or suspected to
be suffering from any infectious or contagious disease cannot be accepted, and
all dogs are inspected on arrival.
CARE AND ATTENTION
The environment to which a
pet has become accustomed will obviously be the best for him/her, so each room
has controlled temperatures to suit individual needs. Buildings are
exceptionally well-insulated to guard against excessive heat in summer, and cold
in winter. Music is played 24 hours a day. Each dog is treated as an individual
at The Royal Pets Hotel, and care is taken to ensure that each pet remains
happy.
FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT, EXERCISE AND WALKS
All
rooms have hatches which connect the inside with the individual outside patio
areas. In addition, dogs are offered walks on a leash in the winter months, and
free-range, individual time in large, grassed, exercise paddocks in the summer
months. Although as much freedom as practicable has been allowed, we are still
concerned with security; consequently, there are safety corridors adjacent to
outside play-areas and locks on all doors. One major advantage in the design of
the Royal Pets Hotel is that all individual, outside patio areas are covered
with ultra-violet light-inhibiting plexiglass: this ensures that dogs use these
play areas to their maximum, while owners may relax in the knowledge that
neither harsh sun, nor cold winds, nor snow may interfere during their loved
ones playtimes..
FOOD
All dogs are fed as individual guests, and
our wish is to feed your dog the same food as he or she would have at home. All
feeding requirements must be notified at the time of booking accommodation to
help ensure that boarders quickly settle down to a happy life while in our
care.
SPA
Where our guests can enjoy a luxurious bath, if requested by their owners.
KITCHEN
Our full, clean and modern kitchen facilities allow for meal preparation and storage for guests on special diets.
LAUNDRY SERVICE
Laundry service is available to our guests, ensuring that bedding is changed and kept clean at all times.
STAFF
All employees working at the Royal Pets
Hotel have been carefully selected having regard to their experience in the
loving care of animals, and are then trained to adhere to the meticulous
standards set by the management.
